Steve is a visionary leader and technology enthusiast, who is revolutionizing the way people interact with science through immersive technology. As the Founder and CEO of Nanome, a San Diego-based company, he is at the forefront of this cutting-edge field, leading a dynamic team of scientists, software developers, and business development professionals to take the company to new heights.
Before starting Nanome, Steve was part of the inaugural class of Nanoengineering at the University of California, San Diego, where he worked on pioneering materials science research. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field and is now dedicated to leveraging it to develop a Virtual Metaverse for molecular design that will help scientists, researchers, and entrepreneurs create better medicine and technology.
Steve has always had a passion for technology, which began in his hometown of North Hollywood when he converted his car to run on vegetable oil while still in high school. This passion has led him to take on several innovative endeavors, like publishing the first whitepaper on the use of Blockchain for tracking and attributing scientific research, making him an early pioneer in Decentralized Science or DeSci.
With his dedication and drive, Steve is working towards a future where technology and science intersect seamlessly, making research and discovery more accessible than ever before. He is taking Nanome on a journey to become the go-to platform for molecular design, making sure that scientists and researchers have the tools they need to change the world for the better.
