A digital archive of the letters, photographs, and other materials from the family of William Henry Seward
The Seward Family Digital Archive draws on manuscripts, letters, and other materials housed in the William Henry Seward Papers, the largest and most frequently cited manuscript collection in Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation (BDSCP) at River Campus Libraries. Project Director, Thomas P. Slaughter, Arthur R. Miller Professor of History, leads a team of undergraduate and graduate students and retired volunteers. Through their work on the Seward Family Digital Archive, students and community members work as historians, editors, and archivists.
