JOB DESCRIPTION
The Scholarly Communication Librarian provides leadership on issues related to the evolving scholarly communication ecosystem, including the creation, registration, dissemination, preservation, evaluation, and use of University of Rochester researchers’ scholarly and creative outputs. This position is responsible for maintaining awareness of national and international publishing trends, intellectual property rights and copyright, and information technologies that affect access to scholarly information. As part of Scholarly Resources and Curation, this position is responsible for identifying, developing, and promoting strategic scholarly communication services and programs that support sustainable scholarship practices and increase the impact of knowledge generated by affiliated members of the university.
